Physical Therapy Technician

Gallien Therapy is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team as a physical therapy technician. We are a busy physical therapy clinic in Alamogordo, NM.

Therapy Technician will perform routine tasks in assisting the licensed physical therapists in maintenance of treatment areas, equipment, and supplies. The tech helps with patient preparation, exercise and treatment to ensure efficient flow of the schedule and reduces waiting to for patients.

· Prepares equipment and treatment areas for patients.

· Assist clinical staff with pre/post patient care with the application of different modalities, helping patients onto exercise equipment, describe and perform prescribed therapeutic exercises

· Efficient patient set up with modalities to ensure patient safety and comfort.

· Cleans treatment areas, keeps gym clean and items off the floor.

· Follow directions and use sound judgment in performing job related functions.

· Organize time and set priorities appropriately, demonstrating flexibility.

· Assume responsibility in carrying out assigned tasks

· Demonstrate respect, integrity and discretion in all job-related matters.

· An attitude of excellence in providing quality patient care.

· Performs related duties as assigned.
